Mark's Autobody Saskatoon - Glass Replacement and Auto Body Repair Shop

Mark’s Autobody Ltd. was initially founded in 1977 by Mark Poncelet. Following his retirement in 2009, Wilf Gareau took ownership of the shop. Wilf ran Mark’s Autobody Ltd. for the next twenty years with the help of manager, Cory Gaudet. Wilf took retirement in 2019 and after ten years of helping him run the shop, Cory took the reigns and currently leads the shop as General Manager. Mark, Wilf, and Cory have continued to remain friends and collaborate with one another throughout the years expanding the shop into what it is today. Thanks to the excellent business relationships between the three men, Mark’s Autobody Ltd. remains a staple in Saskatoon and continues to thrive. Mark and Wilf remain frequent visitors of the shop while Cory carries forward what they began. Although ownership has changed throughout the years, Mark’s Autobody’s name remains the same.

General Manager, Cory Gaudet, has decades of experience in the autobody industry. Cory began his career working at Bourgault Industries where he acquired tickets in industrial painting and welding immediately following high school. Cory worked as the shift supervisor and head painter in the paint department where he had his first experience managing people at only nineteen years old. Cory eventually moved his career to Saskatoon where he worked on agricultural equipment welding. After some health concerns, Cory decided to enroll in the Woodland Campus in Prince Albert where he would obtain his Business Administration Certificate. Upon completion of his course in 2001, Cory began his first experience in an auto-repair shop where he gained a wealth of experience and knowledge. Cory eventually returned to Saskatoon where he was hired on by a large auto group as a Production Manager. This notable experience in a large urban auto group provided Cory with the mentorship, knowledge, and hand-on experience he needed to run an autobody shop.

Cory was hired on as store manager at Mark’s Autobody Ltd. in 2009 when Wilf requested he come join the team. Through a growth strategy, Cory recruited new staff, expanded services, and invested in new equipment. Many of those recruited staff are still with Mark’s today. Following Wilf’s retirement in 2019, Cory took over as General Manager and began running all day-to-day operations of Mark’s Autobody.

Cory and his wife Casey have built their life together in Saskatoon. Together they have two children, Mason and Sage, who are both students in Saskatoon where they practice martial arts.

Cory and his family enjoy fishing, music, and snowmobiling together in their free time.
